got ticket for no front plate:th_angry-teeth:. this is the 1st time in 3 years since i own the car. never come to my mind it's going to happen to me, oh well at least it's only $50.
 


Knock on wood I've been pulled over for it at least 5 times and never gotten a ticket for it. Maybe God got me back for it by having me blow up motors LOL
 
he was waiting for me. i saw him sitting at the restaurant parking lot. i think if i would of went straight instead of turning by him he would of never pull me over. it's dark outside i don't know how he see my front end. when i pull over at the side street i have to turn off the car cause i hate to see what else he will fine me for. i gave him my expired insurance card and he didn't even question me.

They have a new thing now that tells them if the car has insurance or not. They can still get you for no proof but now when they run the tags it comes back and tells them. Or so I know here in Arkansas it is that way and im pretty sure if Arkansas has it most other states do! lol

We have that here in NY too. The cops have some sort of devices on the top of the cars and trunks that read the plates. I got pulled over once when I had to report a front plate stolen. Cop pulled me over for no front plate which had been stolen off my car, gave me a peice of paper to take to the DMV for new plates but I didnt get to the DMV on time that day.. And driving down a main road that nite the cops little device told him my plates were "stolen".. He pulled me over and almost arrested me until I told him everything he wanted to know after calling the car in to see if it was infact stolen!
 
Plates are reflective, in any amount of light. Thats how he can see it in the dark.

Some cars have the plate readers on the roofs here but not many at all.

You can get out of it in court if you never had a ticket like that in your state before. Put it on take the car to court, w/ dated pic that morning in their lot w/ the front plate or ask the judge to send the baliff out to check, 1st offenses get tossed out, Id go to court on it.
 
In CT they have scanners that scan tags for back taxes and too many tickets.
They can drive slowly down the street and scan every parked car. So if they scan a street and your tag gets a hit for taxes or tickets you get towed you won't get your car till you pay.
They use to put the boot on your car but they ran out of boots.
 


yea i take the same chance here in new york... its really annoying. and my tints on the windows and all the lights
 
yeah i got a ticket for no front plate in NY... someone definitely ripped it off my car cuz the bolts were still there with a bit of aluminum.. i don't think cars look bad with front plates on.. just put it on!!
 
That's my front tag, I have been pulled over once for it. It was about 12:30am I didn't get a ticket I think the cop was just board.
He did tell me not to come back to his town with my car.

i hate front plates. Some cars dont look that bad. Its more about that fact the only reason they want u to have it on is so they can make more money with speed cameras and such thngs.
 


There's a ricer in town that never runs a front plate. My friend runs a Mustang and she gets pulled everytime she goes out without the front plate.

Cheaper fine than here. Had an MP warn me that it was a $90 fine if I didn't put my front plate on. It takes from the vehicle so much though :th_thumb-down:

Needless to say I never got pulled over and I ran with it like that for 8 months. Which included a conversation with a cop about a misunderstanding, the guy walked all the way around to the rear for my tag and said nothing about there not being one on the front :P

What sucks is on my last no front plate ticket the duepaid(DuPage) county judge that was presiding told me to drill the ****ing bumper, now mind you this is a 78 BU front bumper, its thick steel. I told him thanks but no thanks, Id have a plate on there if GM still made one for that car, its 26 years old.

Did you also know in Illinois the plate has to be a minimum of 12" off the ground, I attached it to the air deflector much like the F body freaks do but mine is right at the front bumper not set back like the f bodies and they still gave me a ticket in the same county.

Got busted off archer one time with a few friends running and the CPD took off with my car, left me in his with cuffs on and took off in mine, brought it back but still, he let me go said nice car, I couldnt blow it up.
 
got another damn ticket last week with no front plate again. this time my car is parked:th_angry2:. anybody from illinois know if i put my plate on the dash board behind the windshield and park will they leave me along?
