Got myself a new car

Some of you have been waiting for an update from me and what's been going on as far as my car situation goes. Decided to get rid of my GP and get something that was fun and reliable, seeing as I'm starting college this fall and can't afford to have a car that's modded and could break down on me. I've been on vacation for the past 7 days, which is why I have been MIA. Picked this bad boy up on the 26th of July and so far I love it. It's an 05 Midnight Blue Volvo S60 R. It's got a turbo'd 300hp inline 5 cylinder with AWD, 4 piston Brembo's all the way around, and a three way electronically adjustable suspension. And I picked it up with only 50k miles on the clock :th_thumbsup-wink:























No major plans for it, trying to keep this one as stock as possible lol I plan to tint the windows, get an intake and downpipe, and leave it at that.
 


I always loved the S60R's I want one in the Electric blue color.

Anyways, the only thing to be really worried about is the AWD, Matt knows more about it than I do. Otherwise these cars tend to be great.

Haha knew that was coming Bio.. I thought about it, but at the same time I kinda like the way it sits.

As far as the problems go, I tried reading up as much as I could on the forums but couldn't really find much complaints besides front wheel hubs and alignment issues, which aren't that bad to me. Hoping nothing serious comes up with it lol

It was either this car, or I was gonna get a Saab 9-3 Aero.
 


About the only 9-3 I would consider is the TurboX, which has the ability to overcome the terrible GM interior that was forced onto Saab by GM, with AWD/6 speed/and power.
 
That's the exact one I wanted. I told myself my new car had to be an AWD turbo car lol Just couldn't find a 9-3 like that in my price range.
 
Nice car. I've always liked the S60R. Unfortunately I think I'm too big for one :p It was a tight squeeze to get in an S80.. I can only imagine an S60.


And too bad its not a 6sp.... I love the way those shifters look in these cars.
 


Yea the cheapest one I could find was 13k and even that was kinda too much.

I didn't want a manual to be honest, but I absolutely love the interior of this car compared to the GP. Not to mention the awesome seats it has, it's not just a wood block covered in leather lol

And I still have it right now Zach.
 
Lmfao Bio, but i was gonna be happy for you if you sold it, but i still have to see you soon, i figured out what I will get ya along with the money!
 


Nice looking car, a guy tried to race me in one of those a while back...the dummy had a spare donut tire on one of his rears...nearly lost control, but it sounded good lol

Thank you sir! They don't sound too bad when they're stock, I'm excited to get an intake and exhaust on there and really hear that turbo!
