i remember chasing down a viper, he was doing like 70 swerving in between the lane dividers so i jumpe on his side and he looked and punched it. god those cars sound so deligthfull.

Vipers... LOL. The first gens were really laughable. This pic was from 2003, and a damn sight more stockish than it is now.

haha, funny my uncle bought a 1st gen. it had zipper windows and the only power in the car was the horse power.
 
Truthfully tho, look back at 91 when they first did come out. for what $70k ish, what other car could you buy on the same power platform. Vettes were still under or right at 300hp, camaros, mustangs, etc... all were lower. and until the 2000s when they lost the "decimate all" motivation they were king of the hill under $100k. Gallons per mile was laughable, but the performance factor was there. I still want a 97 GTS. All you need is a radio and 6 gears. TCS? what? Stability Cont-what? POWER!

Now ... yea kinda laughable, especially since most modded anythings can keep up or out run.
 
yeah they killed off the viper to put traction control on it? why and who even would use it. i can see it now tcs auto off relays galore

Good thing about the new Viper, is the TCS, Stability Control...are all totally defeatable...unlike other higher powered cars, like the new Mercedes Black cars...kinda dumb.
 


exhaust on a viper is awful? i don't know my friends old SRT 10 truck had exhaust work done and it sounded nasty
