I was at my buddies condo and we were hanging out with some neighbors, well one just happened to own a srt-4. well my friend like to push my buttons so he keeps saying im faster than it, and i tell him the guy says he has a stage 2 kit and claims its 250whp. well we all hop in the srt, and by no means do i wanna own this car but it was done right no fart cans or stickers or stupid **** like that.
after the drive which it seemed pretty quick but from the ride i thought it would be about dead even. so i figured id give it a shot.
well all the runs were from around 20-30mph rolls, but anyway first race i get the jump and pretty much stay a car length the whole way. Second and 3rd i stayed even through first and half of second, all in all he beat me by about 1-1 1/2 cars. come to find out he says he missed 3rd the first time lol.
all i know about the srt is it had a stage 2 kit short throw shifter and straight pipes, on my ride with him it showed 20psi of boost thats a stock turbo but for 20psi it seems like it should be faster that or it doesnt flow for ****.
my car has headers, 3.4", ported gen3, 180tstat, al 104's, and a half done tune. if you compare the price of that kit compared to the only thing i really spent any decent amount of money on was headers and that only cost 225 i dont think i did that bad. intercooler is coming soon tho
