on my was to class i got rear ended now i need to buy another exhaust this will be my 4th. and now i will be out a car for the time it takes for them to fix my bumper and what ever else happened to it.
this sucks...

Month and a half ago I was rearended in my Taurus and that is why I now have a gp ;), I liked that ford and it hurt to get hit, I hate accidents

I had my whole rear end smashed in by a Jeep this past March. Trunk lid was a crushed can, bumper was all cracked up, rear driver quarter panel was all smashed. Had the car sent to an insurance "preferred" body shop. A co-worker who had done some auto body work in automotive school was telling me to be careful because body shops will use cheap aftermarket body parts instead of the OEM stuff from the factory. I didn't pay that tip any attention.......................................until I got my car back...........................5 WEEKS LATER!!!! At first sight, I immediately noticed the seam where the panel and bumper met looked real funny. The 2 surfaces kinda sink/concave inward as they meet, kinda giving the bumper this funny round bubble look on the sides. I had other people look at it to make sure I wasn't going crazy and once pointed out, everyone agreed that it did look funny and not like the original. Needless to say I wasn't happy, but hey I guess it common knowledge that once you're car's in a major accident like mine, its never the same. So if there's any validity to the fact that shop will use cheap aftermarket parts that may not fit right, be very careful.
