I really dont think he scammed you, he's a regular here

Stuff happens in real life, I just sold a head unit on ebay, the auction ended 2 weeks ago and I gave the package to the post office a week and a half ago.

I work 2 jobs so it's seriously difficult for me to get to the post office between 9am and 5pm, and so yesterday was the first day I was in since.
The post master immediately handed me my package from a week and a half ago and said there was a problem with the postage and my payment didnt go through for some reason, so he kept it... we dont have mail delivery in our small town so he couldnt just send it back to the return address, we have to pick up any mail there, so it just sat in the post office.

Meanwhile, the buyer had gotten pretty angry at me and was threatening me with a paypal complaint without talking to me at all the whole week or asking any questions. I sent it out yesterday for real with no problems so he'll be getting it monday probably.

Do you have a tracking number? Have you spoken to him? The package could be there tomorrow or the next day for all you know.

he got my money Sunday, he was supposed to ship out first thing Monday.
but according to him he works midnights and its tough..thats all i know.

Ive probably bought 30 things on here..
Of those 30 MAYBE 10 people shipped an item the day they said they would. Most people say yeah I'll have it out the day after you pay me, and half the time it doesn't go out for 4-5 days.
Give it at least a few more days.
 


I built a rep on shipping nearly the same minute. Got all the supplies laying around etc etc. Then my life got busier and I still think I can ship the same. Ask around...the guys here have been very patient and understanding with me. Heck.. NegativeOne ...ask him, in the meantime though I had 100 things crop up and keep me from getting to it and thinking I'd be able to do it next. Life can get crazy. Cop is a good guy from everything I've seen here and chatted with him about.

Toss him an email/pm or text. For a while he was on quite a bit and lately it's looked like he's been pretty busy. Give the guy a chance to splain himself.
 
I don't know cop, but give him a few days before you talk about getting burned. I've gone through a bad experience with a different seller as I explained in the Rant section, but my experience was over weeks. Like others said, did you try email/pm or text him. And I think this should be in the lounge or rant section.
 
yea. i have emailed him every day since Friday of last week. he was answering all my emails up until Wednesday. he just kept saying "i will get it out the next day"
and i just realized today that i hadnt even gave him my address. he has never even asked. like he hasnt even attempted to get the heads shipped out..
 
you never gave him your address until today yet your ranting about him not getting them shipped out earlier this week.......:th_sign-ohsnap:
 


yeah, and as stated, even if he had your mailing info, sometimes life gets busy and somethings gotta take a backseat.. this isnt TDC your dealing with LOL

This is how it should be.
 
I can tell you if I bought something and was TOLD it would ship the next day and it didn't I would be pissed.

I also think its pretty dumb to blame the buyer if the seller never asks for an address. If he needed the address than the SELLER should PM the buyer and get that info from him. It shouldn't be up to the buyers speculation to assume the buyer didn't get his address.

Too many people on here are fast to take money and not produce the goods. I can understand if you have stuff going on and get busy but people on here are NOT banks that lend money. If you are busy and don't think you will be able to ship something on time then don't take the money. Period! Ask for payment when you know you can or will ship it.

If you need a loan go to bank or ask your mom.
