This one is headed up by Chris Hinson and Kevin Yates. They've somehow convinced a bunch of people that stock or lightly modded 3800's need to have the bottom end balanced for them to be reliable. I gave lots of examples why they are just fine stock, running 7's, 8's, 9's, and 10's without issue. I guess they were losing too much business. Another red mark in the ledger for the hinson/yates swindlers.
 


I got a bunch of harassment because I said to read a book to learn about turbo's. it boggles my mind that anyone would discourage learning.
 




I think they got started when Mike Napurano started the Clubgp facebook group. It was nice to see who you were talking to on the forum, at first. Now they are just loaded with stupid questions, except the select few, and it seems like a new one is created about every week.
 
No kidding. The majority of it is kids asking if a top swap has ever been done, if they can run a 3.2 with just a ZZP tune, etc. It is nice to put a face with a name though, in most cases. Except for Kyle, I was better off without his face in my memory.
 
its cost me 140$ just to document and chart the flexplate balance changes through the years. I haven't even done an l36/67/32 damper.

ive shared my results, only thing further I could do to help the community in that area (aside from oiling mods etc) is to hold my dick and stupidvise while you bolt on an oil pan

I got banned from a facebook group because i dont have a real facebook, and was trying to sell some stuff I didnt need, even though I could prove i was legit, they were ban-happy..
