Car is a 00' 2 dr gtp. Its new to me and im picking it up next week. My questions are 1. The DIC doesn't light up. Ive read that there is a terminal that needs to be resoldered or it could be just the lights burnt out. Is there a pic anywhere showing exactly what to solder? 2. When in park and i rev the engine it gets to about 4k rpm and bounces like its on the rev limiter. Is that normal? I didn't think it was cause the tach goes higher and that seems low for a rev limiter. 3. The driver front elevation gear on the seat went out and doesn't lift or lower. So the seat has to be raised all the way up to be somewhat comfortable. Do the base grand prix come with normal sliding tracks like the passenger seat? Id rather just swap to that then deal with the cables and motor on an electric seat....
I haven't drove the car much cause it needs tags and we just got it fixed last week ( was t-boned). Any help would be appreciated.

the dic, no clue.

the rev limiter, yes 4 grand it park or neutral.

the power seat also goes down, push the button down the seat goes down. power seats will sit lower then a non power seat too.

you could find a gp cloth seat and use your seat covers on it if you really wanted too. seems like a waste tho.

I know the seat is supposed to go down and does on 3 of the 4 corners of the seat. But the front left doesn't work. U can hear the cable skipping inside the gear. My guess is its broke. Thats why i want the basic sliding tracks to bolt my seat to. Thanks for the rev answer. That was worrying me lol.

that im not sure of the gray. black is very common tho, the back seats fit too.

ive got dark gray seats in my light gray interior regal, the two tone blends nice, no one even notices. black may just work.
