So Im sure this has been discussed, or at least though of but, couldnt find anything. I made some metal plates for upper mounts. Idea being box in clamshell bushing in a sense making it permantly solid. I am aware of the added vibration and possible harshness of doing this, was more wondering about false kr ect. Any opinions welcome
 


it wont really cause anything bad to happen besides transferring more vibration through the car. im pretty sure poly mounts would be just as good though, why are you concerned about making the motor so static?
 
Was bored and had a few too many drinks! thought it might be a way to avoid spending any more money on bushings
