Good launch tire 4 stock gtp 04 rim?

Hi, I was wondering what would be a good performace tire 4 launching/gripping/lasting for 225/55/r17? Also is the tire clearance the same for a 98gtp as a 04-07gtp?

Summer or all-season? I'll assume you don't want slicks, since you didn't list a built transmission.

Those are good tires.

You could go for something more grippy though like the BFG gforce sport. Wont last as long but they will have more traction.

Wouldnt recommend them as an all season tire though.

not many in that size unless you wanna get some 275/40 which ofcourse wont fit on stock rims.

Unless you have 15 or 16" wheel. Not many slicks will work.
