• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Good Bye

I don't know if he knows, and I imagine he is on his way by now anyways but shortly after his training comes Christmas leave. If I recall correctly, it is two weeks leave. I guess he is going to be active duty.
I guarantee this will be the best damned Christmas he has ever known.

Well Mr Stunt0Rider, at this moment, it is the very day you left.
I am new to the forum, yet I imagine you will be checking back so let me be the first to say in advance -

Welcome home. :th_thumbsup-wink: So, how does it feel to be able to drive a car to where you want to go, and not have to get up at stupid-hundred hours to do P.T.?

Yes folks this is WAY early but still, tho I do not even know the guy, being a vet myself, I am proud of those who serve.

I'm thankful there are people who have this perspective. Thanks for serving. We honor you for putting your life on the line for us. May we never forget the sacrifice you and so many others have made to see that we're still a free country.

yes you are correct, same thing happend do me when i did OSUT in ft. knox. however, after being home for two weeks and having a incredible time, going back to basic is a very depressing time. but after about 4 days everybody started acting normal again and starting counting down the days till graduation.

let us know where you get your first duty station (if your active duty)

Best, Lenny

Have a good time in Korea. They are really improving the living facilities and bases there. I spent a month there years ago. I still use the jacket I got there, and that was nearly 10 years ago. (good cheap clothes and stuff like that)
