Both the coolant flush and shift kit are very easy to install. A couple simple tools, a spot to work, and a couple hours, and you can save yourself some major cash. Especially the coolant flush. That is about as simple as it can get.

If you want help, let me know. I can type out exactly what to do and all the issues you will run into.

:th_angry-censored::th_angry-censored: VIP. Watch out they'll probably try to sell you some synthetic brakelight fluid haha.

Thanks for the help man, Im gonna try to do the shiftkit this weekend. I allready had one guy tell me what to do but everybody has different approaches to doing it soo im defently open to getting advise for shift kit and defently the coolant flush, specialy when it cost 73 bucks plus coolant at vip.

Holy Cow! Me too.
Thats alot!! I have an appointment Monday to take the gp to have that orange CRAP flushed out and put in the good stuff. $40-60 at a radiator shop. He said I could bring my own antifreeze if I wanted. SWEET

try and go to a specific shop....they usually are a lot cheaper...

try and tackle it youself....ask ANY questions you want.

All the shops near by are just as big crooks as vip, and i have no time to do it myself.

So is there a curtin type of dexcool i should get and how much of it do i need ?

If you are getting it flushed, just have them take out that crappy Dex cool and use regular green anti-freeze!!!!
So I've been told by Scotty and a few others.

green stuff = win, and yeah, if you have a spot to work a coolant flush is pretty simple, just remember to bleed it after you're done.

we've hit on the subject a few times before, but if he's not having a problem with the dex, shouldnt be any reason to switch from it. would reccomend a new style cap though.
