Going to check out a comp G Friday....

It's an 05 black comp G, 35k on it, he wants 13,995 for it sticker price.

Im going to look at it Friday, hoping to get out of my NA and go faster lol.
I was thinking about offering 12k right off and seeing what he says, does that sound fair? Should I go lower to start?

Being a member here so long I know most of the trouble spots of the platform and where to look, any tips or advice before I go there? Stuff to bring up or pick out?

Im gunna use my car as a trade-in, still owe about 7k on it so I'm just hoping he'll take that off my hands and give me the comp G for 12-13

youre trading your car AND paying 12/13k? damn...
i would offer around 8 or 9 if im doing a trade + cash.

Well if the car was payed off I would expect lower, but he's pretty much giving me 7k for the car already to pay off the remainder of the loan on it

i am confused as well. you can literally buy a comp G for 12k. and then sell your other car.
if you give your car for about 7k, and then 6k on top of that i would say thats fair

I paid $6200 for mine about a year an 8 months ago and it had 119,000 miles.(from a dealership) still looks beautiful. at the time i had my 2001 gtp special edition coupe and loved that. i test drove the compg out of boredom one day and it was mine a week later lol.

No, I still owe 7k in payments on my loan for the car, the debt won't just disappear because I sign the car away and I don't have 7k to pay it off all at once... Definitely can't pay off 2 loans and own 2 cars so he's essentially giving me 7000 to take the rest of my debt off my hands because the car is not fully paid off, then the new car I will have to get a new loan for.

Bleh, I have the feeling it got sold already because the craigslist ad is still up, but the dealership's actual website doesnt have it.

Gunna be super pissed.

Yeah I called today and it sold like last week, sucks.

He said it was absolutely mint, some old guy bought it new, kept it in his garage for like 6 years, barely ever used it... traded it in because it was too much car for him, he wanted a small 4 cyl. He said it might as well have just come off the factory line.

Really bummed. Oh well, maybe I can find another mint, black Comp G with under 40k for like $13k within an hour of me. Yeah right :p

I still have the invoice for my 05 CompG , $36k with all the options. I paid $14500 3 years ago with 30k miles . If you want the CompG go for it its a nice car.
