Ok all, I made mention of this in a previous post but didn't have all the details. Here is what I have found:
GM Tech Bulletin # 08032A: Customer Satisfaction - Uneven Police Car Rear Tire Wear - Replace Rear Wheel Spindle Rods - (Jul 14, 2008)
Models: 2007-2008 Impala Equipped with Police Package (RPO 9C1/9C3)
Part # 19208347 Rod Kit GMPD price: $173.40/ Dealer quote: $223.69
It is essentially a shorter set (4) of rods that bolt up to the rear knuckle. You are still required to align the car and it is only listed for 07-08 Impalas but it is a W-Body. Since I haven't installed them on anything I can't guarantee they will fit our gp's but it's worth looking into when the alternative is an aftermarket adjustable lateral arm kit (CAP004) from BMR for $500. I hope this helps someone in the forum and if you do install them and get it to align properly please let us all know about it. Thank You
