Hey Guys,

I made this Username about a year ago and really couldnt use it because I lost my password some time ago, now I just found it so im back. I joined this forum with a 1995 Pontiac grand prix SE. I have very low miles on it and its totally original in near perfect condition..

in early january of this year, my intake manifold gasket when..many people tried to tell me it was the head gasket But I new it was the intake gasket. I drove for a few days with it blown and it mixing in with the oil without knowing. I was on my way to my friends house one night when the heat just stopped working and the temp gauge just started rising. I didnt overheat It But I know that months prior I was on borrowed time with the intake gasket...I set out to do this job myself, and I made a VERY VERY in detail video for anyone else that wants to do this job to save there 3100.. I got luck I didnt hammer the bearings in the engine too much and I saved my 3100...So, to anyone thats been wanting to do this, or needs to do this right away, I took some time out to make a 9 chapter Video from taredown to build up..How to set the valves, how to change gaskets..Everything with a test drive in the end..Hope this video can help somebody out there...

Its not that bad.. I did Head Gaskets on a 3100 a few years back. Took some time but not HARD per-say....
 
just finished this job on my brothers cutlass supreme.. sadly i think he waited to long to tell me about it

I'm making a 3800 Intake gasket Video soon on a 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS. its my regional Managers Boss's car.. Im gonna make a Detailed video Just like the one I made for the 3100...I have some time tho, Hes got to come up with the funds, and I have to come up with the time.. I have a 1998 Dodge grand caravan with 192,000 in my garage Under the Cameras as of right now lol.. The van is my Daily Driver and shes getting big work done to her..Entire front end, Rear wheel bearings, tune up etc.. I really Love doing this stuff.. Next upgrade is renting a bigger garage and 2 new cameras on Cranes following new editing software lol

If you gonna make 3800 u r awesome. Your video is really good very detailed ill be confident to work on my gp.

I don't know how impala is similar to gp.
 
Awesome, I think I'm gonna change mine, along with the head gaskets, instead of parting it out. With your video I can have this done in a day...by myself.
