Glove Box

I recently purchased a 2004 Grand Prix GTP. I can't figure out how to get the glove box to open. Is there a special trick or a special key?

Igniton key can lock and unlock it, just pull the handle or whatever, grab a hammer, a big one.

Sounds like the glove box handle latch is broken...very common. Try to take a flathead and slowly pry it up then replace the handle.
