Getting Tired of School

TorqueAutoMotiv

donated to get this wow
I find my self wanting to go less and less...
I have only been going for almost 2 years
the first couple semesters were 18-24 units a piece and now im just getting burnt out i guess
I dropped history I barely make it to algebra and ive even missed 3 of my manual/diff's class

ANy one else go through this

In total i have the manual trans class and a fuel and obd class to take along with algerbra before i can get my Master tech cert but I want to get my A.S. degree aswell dunno if i can handle another year

I go to Universal Technical Institute, ive been going now for 15 months only 7 more to go!! Lol i hear ya it gets boring sometimes, but you gotta stick to it.

the hard class to stay in will be the algebra the manual trans class ends in march but the math goes to june so i will be going in for 1 hour a day for a couple months

I know i will stick with it Im just a bit burnt and tired of not having steady cash flow
And now my wife's working to get into the nursing program so scedules are all messed up

Yep my fiance goes to University of Central Florida (UCF) and most of the time i barely see her before i go to school at 7 (night classes)

hoenstly you should make an effort to at least show up to class. i know i did a lot of sleeping and not paying attention, but at least i was there. getting out of school in four years was also my goal (which i did).

get up, get ur ass in gear, smoke a bowl or something and go.... that or more than likely have a ****ty job for a career.

Ya, I hear ya schools rough. I'm a Music Ed. major and it's suppose to be a four year school but I can tell you right now I'm not getting out in four years. Hopefully five but not four. The only way to get out in four is to overload and take more than 19 credit hours every semester which if you ask me isn't worth it. A lot of the classes are a bunch of B.S. too but you gotta do it and play the game. Just stick with it though, you never wanna look back in 10 years and imagine "what if". Atleast that's what I tell myself.

YA I know I'll buck up and just do the damn thing but lately its been a struggle

The auto tech program is suposed to be 2 years with out the A.S. so im on track with it even though the school closed 150 classes and it made scheduling a B!tch

I will also be taking some summer courses and getting it out of the way

screw that bio hahaha im going to mcc for automotive "currently rebuilding my trans thanks to dave at triple edge performance YOU THE MAN! but yeah stuff gets repeated and is boring yes OHMS LAW CAN LICK MY LEFT NUT.... anyways yeah stick to it im almost done and see the light flickering at the end of the tunnel ha

Electrical class sucked 5 hours a day 5 days a week for 9 weeks 70% was lecture 30% was lab

The smog classes are about the same tons of lecture

i respect you mechanics and technicians for what you do. you work hard and dirty all the time. **** that noise.

c'mon man stick it out. i just landed a good job. i'll have my degree in may.,,,after i finish this one internet class. computer info. service, a stupid core class. yes i know it gets boring but stick it out.

Yea Im going to start hunting for an apprentice/internship position soon
I have to go bust out 4 chapters of trans/diff homework out and 3 chapters of algebra homework

I think i just need a light at the end of the tunnel
I have tests in both classes tomorow better go study

X2 thats the nice part about switching my MOS from Bradley mechanice to Radar mechanic! All I do is pluck and chuck parts for the most part however this is an 11 month school for the Radars. I WAS supposed to graduate this comming tuesday but now its friday the 12th thanks to the d@mn ice storm. 11 months so close to being done and then I get to start my new job thanks to this school. Electronics repair for the National Guard starting @ 25/hr. :th_biggrin2: Oh an my wifes dad just got home from Afghanistan last week and says I might be going their soon. I really hope I get a little time home after this school. I got a little boy due in march I dont want to leave yet. Plus I already have done one deployment to Iraq. Everyone in school stick it out and if your not figure out a way to start!

i was in college. but i acted like it was no problem and fel i wanted to work and make money well i did and bought my car so now when i go back to school in the fall i still have to work full time to pay for sheba. so do it now. dont make the mistake. i know it seems like you have so much more but look at how much school you have already done. stick to it!!!! you'll feel better for it in the end.

Im 30 now And every week I look at my college admin records CAuse in 98 I was signed up for the exact same classes i am now but dropped cause my uncle offered me a job paying 15 an hour That was probably one of my worst mistakes. and seeing it does keep me focused

As for being a mechanic There are so many people out there that look down on the proffession its crazy. Many people think its just a bunch of college drop outs and ex cons Im not sure where that comes from either
I just Love the work I dont mind the grease dont mind the back aches and so on When you start an engine up that you fixed and it purrs its just music to my ears

I was a roofer/construction worker made good money hated it
