Just a res. is fine IMO...no cat gives it that deep tone

im pretty sure he does his own porting....

is it just me or do all those SLP's have that little rasp at high rpm regaurdless of what you do to the exhaust?

Not dogging it...sounds good...just wondering if I am the only one that hears that on every SLP'ed 3800

Just put a stock res. back in or put in a glasspack...it'll get rid of every but of rasp you have.

My 3800 has no rasp...then again...it hardly ever runs...it was a good thing I got a video of it when it was running with the XP, Pacerusters, custom 3"...

you need a resonator or a glasspack. they both do the same thing and smooth out the exhaust note. a glasspack just doesnt last as long.
