Getting melted rubber off the paint.

I was working on something too close to the car when a dremel and hot molten rubber flew onto the paint and I tried to get it off since it was still hot and soft. BIG MISTAKE It smeared. I tried washing and scrubbing. Then I tried a claybar. It's not coming off D':
 


you can try mineral spirits, it wont harm the paint or clear coat.

or even try to ice it and see if you can get to break free, im not sure how thick it is. it may not help a thin smear.
 


also any hand cleaner with out grit like pumas should work too, just have to let it sit on it for a while to break the rubber down.

cooking oil may even break it down.

if your doing burn outs to the point that there's rubber balls stuck to the door, you are doing some long ass beating on your car burn outs lol or your at the track.
 
Bug and Tar remover has worked well for me in getting asphalt and other contaminants off. Not sure if its heavy duty enough for rubber.

Lol, I mentioned that because it's a common thing around here and I've never burned out to the point of getting rubber chunks on the paint myself. The rubber stuck to my paint is from working to close with a dremel.
 
Put painters tape all over your fenders before doing said burnouts...duh ;)
