• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

getting kr on stock pulley

Bend it out of the way.

And flip the stock ones like I said.

If you'd read the thread in my signature instead of just bypassing it all...then you'd understand what we're getting at and you could actually fix the car.

I did read your thread as stated I just bought poly motor mounts from intense ill flip mine when I get home also do I risk snapping or messing up the dipstick tube if I bend it too much or is it pretty strong last thing I need is a tranny leak where the tube goes into tranny

There's an o-ring/rubber grommet that seals the dipstick on the top of the transmission.

There should also be a small 10mm bolt holding it onto the transmission with a little bracket with two pinch welds on the tube. Those little welds can break open pretty easy...so try to bend the upper portion of it away from the crossover, not the bottom of it.

As for the mounts, yes...if you're getting poly mounts just wait for them to come in....no point really in flipping them if you'll just be cutting them out in a week. Just take it easy until you get everything done. No harm done to the car if you don't go flogging on it everywhere.

Check the lower mounts too.

If you have lots of movement then I'm sure the lower mounts are toast as well and need to be replaced. And don't buy the fluid filled ones, just get solid rubber replacements.

How much clearance do you recommend there be between the dipstick and cross over also I'm curious if my rear o2 sensor could be causing knock being that the non fouler makes it touch the exhaust hangar rubber rings

You have an o2 simulator?

Dingdingding.

Any 01+ cars NEED the rear o2 due to cat diagnostics.

Also, the front one could be touching the firewall as well. Check that.

No dummy, he has a non fouler, not a simulator.

Its just some spark plug non foulers with a the o2 sensor screw into them, makes the sensor be farther away from the gases.

Yea I don't have a simulator I have the non fouler like five finger said but what I notice now is with the fouler my damn o2 lines up right where the exhaust hangar rubber ring goes what a crappy set up SD did with these headers ill take a pic so yall can see Friday

You realize you paid $200 for headers oppose to the $500+ that the other headers cost right? So I imagine they'll be a few things that could of been done better.

so im noticing everyone who talks about getting kr is only measuring it once they step on the gas ie wot i dont get any kr at that point im guessing i might just be fine and seeing kr in between shifts might be normal? Does anyone else monitor kr during shifting or just at wot??? ps still waiting on my poly motor mounts to get in also my tranny pan so i can put in my shift kit then ill take a look at my sway bar and 02 sensor

Kr is normally recorded in a data log. So it is being recorded at all times the engine is running. If your accelerating and you see Kr I would still make sure it isn't real. Like you already have planed, correct the engine mounts. If that doesn't correct the issue then I'd say keep looking for sources of Kr.

I get kr only during shifting not acceleration but yea I can't wait till my .mounts come in I'm rdy to drive to daytona

Yea I read stock gtps with stock pulley get kr its normal I want to know do I drop to a 3.6 then tune it or tune it then drop?
