Needs A Turbo
when i go to bleed my system should i be getting a steady squirting stream out of the valve because mine only dribbles out unless i pull the throttle.....115k on the car could it be the water pump? my car has run hot ever since the gen v swap....should i unblock the coolant passages on the lim? car got up to 210 today with a 180 thermo in it and proper fan settings......
 


my car always hits 210 before the t-stat opens, then it never gets above 180*. As far as bleeding the system, any coolant coming out you should be good and bled.

kind of off topic but, did you ship out my shifter yet?

went out today sorry for the delay.....its been shyt storm for me lately....:(
 
Did you open up the coolant passage below the tb on the lim about 1/8-1/4" when blocking the coolant passage at the tb?
 


Yup..under the TB on the LIM is a little plate with 2 8mm bolts holding it on. Pull that and open up the passages a bit. that's coolant flow from rear to front heads.
 
ok i ran the car with no thermo today.....car got no hotter than 185 with it 95 outside.....with the thermo back in it runs 201-205......thats quite a diff......i think im just gonna leave it out lol
