gen v vs. gen 3

I went to the junkyard and bought a Gen V that has pretty beat up rotors. I also bought a Gen 3 on craigslist (was told it was a Gen V but the guys either lied or didn't know what he was talking about) that has perfect rotors. Are they interchangeable? Can I swap the Gen 3 rotors into the Gen V case?

Also what type of grease is used on the needle bearings?

I asked the question about needle bearing grease not too long ago, I was told that the OEM grease used is quite hard to come by, and dealers do not carry it. A lot of people used wheel bearing grease, or other high temp synthetic grease...
 
RollingPerformance.com for the grease. Although I have used a high heat/load grease that Warn uses in their winches.
