Gen V swap TB question

Anyone here done a Gen V top swap on a Gen III? I have everything excluding the tb setup. I see that ZZP has a complete N* setup for $299. Now my question is, is it possible to piece together this kit?

I see numerous Northstar engines in the junk yards. Can i just get one of those TB's and the MAF thats on the engine? Is there anything else that I would be missing?
 


yes you just need a gen V to N* adapter plate and the wiring adapters.

TB needs to be from an '00+ northstar motor. LQ4 maf is what you want and those came on most V8 chevy trucks. anything with the 5.7-6.0L engines deffinitly have them not sure which others. if you go on rockauto and look for a 1500 silverado maf it will give the other vehicles it works on.
