Hey guys getting ready to installing my Gen V and N* LQ4 Combo soon but I have some questions:

1. Do I need to buy a Turndown adapter for the Gen V? Being as im goin intercooled Stage 2 if that helps

2.Could I use the EGR Block off Plate and RTV for the PCV?

3.Installing the N* what are my options for the bracket I dont want to buy a modified one from ZZp could I use just my l67 throttle body one or ghetto rig something for it to work?

4.Since im goin intercooled shouldn't I be fine for altenator clearance or would I need to trim a little off the snout im not gonna purchase a 99+ altenator and bracket if I dont need to

Thanks!!!!

1. Not sure, think it is determined by brand and thickness of IC
2. Your gonna want to put a nipple on the pcv to block it (recommend running line from pcv to intake tube after MAF but before TB, and tube from oil fill neck to nipple on N*)
3. Why not do it right with the zzp bracket? Dont cheap out
4. 99+ alternator bracket and alternator.

Ok something tells me I dont need the turndown if anybody could post a picture of their gen v intercooler setup/n* lq4 combo that would help ...99+ bracket and altenator I guess ima grab smh was hoping I could put it on without worrying about that

1) 2-1/4 intercooler, gen 5, North Star. You are going to be close to the hood, really close.

3) No you can not reuse the throttle body adapter.

Ok but I dont need the turndown right? I have a stock hood that should be enough clearance right?

You will be touching the hood. You will probably have to trim a tiny bit of the hood to have enough clearance so that it's not resting on the TB. That or use cradle spacers.

1. you may or may not need a turndown, every car is different, however I have the s2 kit and I need it
2. use the egr block off for the evap on the blower, not the PCV
3. the zzp bracket will be the best route
4. yes, you will need the 99+ alt bracket and alt. Also, you will have to address the coil pack bracket to allow for belt clearance

Motor mounts im grabbing asap question guys I know people are saying in need the modified cable bracket but could I just cut the north star bracket shown in this picture?
