Gen III to Gen V Conversion Problems

I read the swap thread and sticky im still confused.
I have the Gen V On, with the evap block off plate,
what line do i need to connect in between the L67 tb and sensor?
My car now idles at 4k rpm, i know its something with the idle module or the cable, everything else is running fine though
trying to fix this all right now

do you put a vac line on the map sensor?

mine goes BBV solinoid to the lim then to the map sensor then to the fuel pressure regulator. evap has its own line that looks like a fuel line. and there is a line that attaches to the TB to the big nipple on the sc behind the evap port you blocked off. however i am using the genV evap and just flipped my tb adapter plate and throttle body upside down to do it.

Hmm, im getting confused but just so i dont get more confused i just want to verify from what i read from other forums and stickies to what i did.
Block off plate goes on Supercharger Gen V Evap Sensor.
The next part is to connect what hose to before the maf and after the throttle body adaptor plate? What does it connect to?

and what about the big hole that is where the pcv valve is but lower towards the bottom.
sorry for the vague words its just i dont wanna say this and not mean that. im just confused is all lol

First off: Upgrading to a gen V and putting a stock L67 throttle body back on is useless, IMHO.

Now that I got that off my chest; what are you confused about? Everything you need to know about this swap is in the gen V swap thread. Why do you need to "verify" what you read in those posts??? Read the write-ups, follow what they say to do, turn the car on.

well copgtp,
my question was....
The next part is to connect what hose to before the maf and after the throttle body adaptor plate? What does it connect to?
and what about the big hole that is where the pcv valve is but lower towards the bottom.

I read most of the stickies that i can find esp. the swap thread.
All i want is a picture of how all the vacumm lines look when its finished. Most of the threads have pictures but are either moved or deleted. And im not done with the project, This sc was sitting in the garage for months and my gen iii is starting to make noise. Obviously if i want to verify that means i want to make sure what im doing is right. Dont need to be a dick about it, im here asking for some guidance and you ask me why, when you could've just helpped me out.

As it says in the swap thread............. it all depends on what you decided to do, the instructions don't change........

What about the vacuum lines? That is one of the easiest things to get right in the swap.

The PCV system is straight forward also. Either cap off the nipple on the gen V and urn a breather on the front valve cover, or run a vac line from the nipple, to a vac fitting AFTER the MAF, but before the TB (AS STATED, VERBATIM, IN THE SWAP THREAD)

The EVAP system again, simple. I'll quote from the swap thread AGAIN for you: Either you cap off the Gen V evap port, and run your evap as it sits. You can cap the EVAP port and delete the system, removing codes in PCM. Or because u are running an L67 TB, you should be able to make the evap port work on the Gen V, but I've never done that.

Well, there you go, hope you feel better about the swap now that you've made your own thread about it.

Ahhh! okay thank you alot! makes alot more sense even though ive read so many threads on it. i already have it on and everything. thanks.
