gear set, 4th gear hub, channel plate gouged! help!

That's where the teeth of the clutches sit. From what I can see..they look ok.

Greg, not saying you don't have a point. At the same time though..to me it's kinda like replacing a side cover cause theres a scratch on it. Not structural, not hurting or touching any surfaces (now lol) ... shouldn't be an issue.
 


Toss up a better pic of the marks.. I may side with Greg on the replacement if they look deep. Like he said.. too cheap of a part to skimp.
