Gas smell

I keep smelling gas that comes through my heat vents when I turn the heat on in the morning....sometimes it's strong and you have to roll the windows down. Has anyone ever had this experience. What did you do to fix it.
Thank you
Sammie

Re: Can't figure this one out....help

You might have some leaking fuel injector or fuel line orings... Might want to investigate that pretty quick. The only other possibility is running super rich or possibly evap line being exposed and not routed to the solenoid or intake.

sounds like one of your quick disconnects are failing in the fuel lines, not sure if your supercharged, but on top of the sc are 2 fuel lines, the one on the right side always seems to fail, mine only leaked when the car was off, never when on, and would leave a puddle under it on the sc. you can fix this by replacing the O rings inside the disconnect. if thats whats leaking.

your heat and A/c air inlet is at the bottom of your pass side windshield, so it draws air from almost under the hood.

This can be a pinhole leak in the fuel line, connection o-ring, injector o-ring (not common though).

Take a look as soon as possible as this can ignite and cause issues.
