Gas Prices!!!



Well the start of the new year saw the price of oil actually increase. I wonder how long it will take to make its way to the pump. I also heard a talk local radio show host discuss the potential ethenaol bailout. He commented that are now reports out that Ethanaol does not possess the "good qualities" their proponents claim. ie Saving the ozone and other such things.

I sincerely hope we dont start this kinda trend after the stupid a$$ bank bailouts. I can certainly understand the Big 3, but the banks should have fallen due to their greed and wrongful acts they committed to put them in the place they currently are.

It's gone up $0.20 at my gas station in the last couple of days.
 
Yeah mine has gone down?:th_laugh-pointup: It has forced people to bring out their chargers,mustangs,challengers etc in the snow :th_nervous: because gas is so cheap.
 


Yeah but you guys don't have as high of standards for cars as we do. I have seen cars in Michigan that should not have been driving but pass safety lol. Most people keep their nicer cars in storage for the winter.

Who's you guys lol? I know a guy that has a GTR that he was driving like two days ago.
 
As in michigan, I saw a jeep from like 30 years ago and it was a RUST bucket, and he said he had no problem getting it on the road. And all the salt we use here rusts out cars pretty badly.
 
Oh idk at the light right in front of my work (where I am now) there's a brand new 5 series BMW a new Lincoln, a new Mercury, ugh a ton of trucks, a white Charger a CTS idk a lot of nicer cars.
 


Yeah people drive their caddys all year long, but usually they dont have chargers,challengers,mustangs,vettes all that out. I certainly wouldn't want mine out.
 
Lol I see some stupid people than because I see some crazy cars out lol. Didn't see the pics of the guy in the ZR1 driving it out here?
 
No I haven't been your way in awhile so I can't see the zr1 :( But there are porsche's and a ferrari here but they only come out in summer.

Well I meant online like people were laughing at it. Porsche's are nothing here. There's a guy in my sub that has a Ferrari and another that has a Phantom and an older Bentley. Lots of stuff like that. A buddy of mine's dad has a Orange Hummer H2 on 28's that are orange and an orange Lambo.

On topic: Lambo's waste a lot of gas :D. So do Hummers for that matter.
 
I'll second that post that gas prices are going up. National average was up a bit. The report said to expect gas to get back up over $2 nationally.
