Gas Milage

With gas being so much right now I am trying to get more miles per gallon in my Grand Prix rather than spending money on performance mods. I would also like to get a rwd car before doing performance mods but that is just my opinion (I would love a 87 GN). Anyway, has anyone heard about or have seen the waterforgas.com website talking about supplementing your own hydrogen that is made in your car for about half or more of the gas your car uses. It sounds like a good idea but it looks like it would take a lot of time, investment, and the risk of seriously messing up something in your grand prix. Not to mention that if you decided to try to build this thing you would also need a new O2 censor, new home made computer to fluctuate the cars fuel mixture, ect.... Comments please, I again am curious on everyone's thoughts...

Yeah, thats pretty much my decision too but getting 45+ mpg does sound tempting. I get around 30 to 32 driving it on the interstate extremely lightly so I guess I should not complain too much. Hey stlmo_gtp I just signed up on the st. louis club, I live right over the river in Illinois....

What is a tuner and tune, does it control the fuel mixture the car uses because they talk about that on the waterforgas website saying that if the car starts getting more mpg than it should, then the computer forces the car to burn more gas because it thinks something is wrong. That is why the website says that basically you need a computer for the fuel mixture, the actual hydrogen system itself and a new O2 senesor. I'm rambling sorry. And thanks for the reply stlmo_gtp, I live in St. Clair county near Belleville in a town called Troy, I grew up in O'Fallon but my wife and I will be moving over to Belleville soon unfortunitly.... I would like to live in Edwardsville someday...

Ahh good old Troy yea i have been out to the skate park out there a few times so i know exactly where that is at and Edwardsville is pretty nice also

Yeah funny man I live right by that park in the crapy town houses behind the Supermarket there, god I hate where I live but oh well.
