Gas Gauge

I was wondering if anybody knew how to make the gas gauge in my 96 gp special edition, stop floting. when i make a turn, break,or go, my gauge moves.
 


The fuel sending unit controls the readings for the fuel gauge... If this is bad it will float a lot but float is normal when turning or braking. If there were baffles in the tank it wouldnt move as much but I doubt u want to switch to a fuel cell
