Alright, my issue is sometimes when I start my car after it sitting for a while my gas gauge goes all the way up to full and stays there for a while then it slowly goes back down to wherever its supposed to be, anyone else had this issue? Thanks

Yep the sending unit went bad. Common problem.

Go to gmpartsdirect.com and search for part number 89060197.

Fuel pump can be accessed thru the trap door under the carpet in the trunk. Float clips to the side of the pump.

I just tried that website and it didn't work,so basically I need a new fuel pump? If so what's the price range?

try rockauto.com and look for a fuel level sensor that should be what you need. I had the same problem and you probably wanna do it soon cause my fuel pump got burnt up on me.

Yes. Thats where I ordered mine from, and it solved the problem. You do NOT need to buy a new fuel pump. Just part number 89060197.
