gas gauge stuck on full

i filled up my car tuesday, and have driven aprox 35 miles since, and my gas gauge only moved about less than a quarter, and it just goes back and forth between there and full. any suggestions?
 


in 35 miles, the gauge should move very little, 17 gallon tank, figure you burned 2ish gallons, 2/17= 11%, a quarter = 25%
It should have moved less than a quarter.......

If it is bouncing, it may be a level sender issue, or you may have a power/ground issue
 
And has it moved since?

If not you may have just got the float stuck. Try another refill and if it doesnt come unstuck you maybe into dropping the tank and re-adjusting the float.
