Garage storage/organization

What have you all done with your garages as far as keeping it neat and tidy? I've got a single car, just wide enough to do any necessary repairs. I built my own work bench, and when I moved in, the garage already had some shelving, but no way to really organize. For example, I've got brake fluid, coolant, oil, spray paint, etc just all on a single shelf. What do your garages look like, and what ways have you found best keep it neat? Also, what are your thoughts/opinions on concrete floor sealants? Mine has chunks here and there missing, so I'd have to fill those in, but I've been contemplating one of those epoxy/flake kits.

old kitchen cabinets make things look cleaner. i myself load up shelves with crap. fluids all by type paints and so on. makes it easy to know what you have left. then i got bins and milk crates full of crap on the higher shelves.

them epoxy floor coatings work well, iirc they got a crack and chip repair kit too.

When I remodeled my kitchen the old wall cabinets and ceiling fan got installed in the garage. I also have a few old filing cabinets and shelving which gives me plenty of storage space. It's not pretty but it's well organized and I can find stuff right away. Also pegboard, lots of pegboard

I have so much crap hanging on the walls that now I'm regretting not insulating it before. It's a detached 2 1/2 car that's all block. One of these days I'll rip it all down and put some foam board all around it.

I'm lucky to have a double attached garage but found that I had a lot of "stuff" around the walls that limited what I could put in the garage. So I built a storage area that is equal to about 25 percent of the floor space above the area where my work bench and bike stand is. It's a 2x6 frame that is screwed to the back and side wall and then a 4x4 post at the corner. Now I can put a whole bunch of stuff I should probably throw out or get my kids to take to their own homes off the floor, park the car and still have my work area. It's still a big mess though until I organize it again when the nice weather comes back.
