Galaxy Nexus S Screen cracked

Guys..

What do I do? Is it possible to get baby fixed or should I ride it out with the cracked screen for a while? Phone is about 7 months old.

Verizon...

i had a puddle of brandy and coke under the screen of my last phone for like 6 months before i got a new one. don't be a sally.

I have the iPhone 4 and I just recently obliterated my screen as well. It still works, but its difficult to read text.

I'd browse ebay for parts. Likely the phone warranty doesn't cover physical damage, so taking it apart shouldn't be too big of a concern.

Go to Verizon and ask before you take your phone apart or what not. They have always been great with me and phones. Granted none of my issues were ever broken screens.

so bill lol your great phone f'd now? lets see a pic of damage, is it the outside digitizer or the lcd screen?

LCD screen has two cracks across/up it. It's livable...but it's like having a broken windshield to me.

Ebay has the one I need for about $160.

In the process of cracking the screen... I dislocated a guys shoulder.. yes.. beer...many many beers were involved..and we laughed

sounds like a slip and fall, better call a attorney asap. ha.

that does suck, more about the shoulder then the phone.

Pretty simple just bring it into Verizon. Don't tell them you Were wasted, but say it was in your pocket And you pulled it out like that. They don't do anything try Samsung since you still have a 1 yr warranty with them. If they both say no get a screen and so on and do the swap yourself. Should be pretty simple, otherwise buy buy a new phone for around $350 which is the going price now.

I otterboxed my s3. Got the commuter case so it's not massive. Or call them for insurance have them do it over the phone come back a few weeks later and get the screen replaced.

nice job but 160 for a replacement? should be around 50 tops. and easy to replace

Unlike iPhones and other LCD's AMOLED screens are fused into one piece. Digitizer, screen + glass and there are no aftermarket screens, its OEM or nothing, you will not find anything under 150$

LOL Finding one for the i515 wasn't as easy as the rest. The rest of the models come with everything for about 60ish.. this baby.. she's special.

First gen iPhone they were fused together, 3G/s were seperate, and the 4/s are fused together also.

my iphail has been cracked for about 15 months... Entire screen is fubar'd and I'm missing hunks of glass. Still works so I can't justify buying a new one...
