Yeah I know, we were very involved with Egypt as well, Im just applauding our not going in militarily, or in any wide-open aggressive way.

I realize there are ALWAYS things going on behind the scenes

If we did this and drilled Alaska we would easily be set for the rest of our lifetime, there's 50 years worth in Alaska alone. Of course we wouldn't stop getting oil from the middle east either so there's a sh!t ton of oil which would obviously make it cheaper also.
