g8 or grand prix?

i am thinking about buying a g8 in the near future. my first question is are they worth the money? or should i keep my grand prix and save more for a better car
 


base models are slooooooooow. I mean they're nice cars and look awesome, but if you want some umph deff get a GT version, or better, a GXP :P I drove some G8 GT at work and man i spun the tires so easily like a fool. Love the car tho.
 


i never used to like them but i got to take one home from work and i fell in love with it. i just dont know if it is worth the money or if i could get a faster better car
 


if he were to get a gto now would you get a 5.7 or the 6.0 i know obvioulsy the ls2 makes more power but the 350 you can get so many parts cheap for it
 
theres a 04 gto 5.7 manual at the place i work at i could probably get for alittle over $10,000, and there is a g8 gt but thts about $20,000 but thats automatic
 
id also get the LS2, love the g8 but GTO is... well.... a GTO haha

EDIT: id pick the g8 gt over the 5.7 goat
 


well i can get a 6.0 im just sayin thts what i drove off the lot resently. is there a hp difference between the gto 6.0 and the g8 gt? i just want to know the pros and cons of both
