g6 seats with 5 pt harness????

Has anyone thought of putting g6 gtp or gxp seats in a grand prix with 5 pt harnesses? A friend of mine was talking about it but I couldnt really put my opinion on it because I never saw this done. Thanks
 


Entertaining this idea... why?

I ask why, simply, because you are talking about putting in a completely different body style and platform style set of seats that don't even come with a factory 5 point harness setup. They have to be modded so why not just mod the GP seats or get a actual set of racing seats and a proper 5 point harness if that is the look you want. Not that it is needed, the standard 3 point seat belt is more than sufficient for anything the Grand Prix is capable of, unless you plan to do a full tear down and completely re-build the car from the ground up like ZZP did their 8 sec 1/4 mile record holder.

Ya good point, I just wanted to throw the idea out there to see if anyone has thought about it
 


My thoughts.. Those seats ****ing suck. My mom has an 06 Malibu Ltz and the seats are more worthless than the 97-03 gp seats. It's like sitting on a wooden chair.
