g6 emblem opinions (pics)

So I just got this from a guy from a g6 forum, it's the trunk badge from a g6. It pretty much fits in the front bumper (seems a hair bigger but I think I can make due). I just can't decide if the chrome clashes with the car being white. I just laid the emblem over the stock one to see what it'd look like. Give me some opinions.
-don't mind the dirt, bugs, tar, chip, etc etc

The ugly orig:

is that a mock up or actually installed? looks weird from the side i would mold it into the bumper then it would look hott.

Dont really like it. I would on black but you have a lot going on with the plastic around the grill and the chrome around the arrow head

the HL's kill it IMO you need something to toughen up the front end it looks feminine as is to me.....JMO dont get all butt hurt over it.

I just put it on over top of the stock emblem, so yeah it's up a little higher than it would be installed.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking that. But then I look at the stock emblem and realize how ugly it is. Some time in the future I plan on getting chrome street scene grills so maybe that'll tie in the chrome together more... I dunno.

HL's? uh, headlights? And yeah I asked for opinions so it would be dumb for me to get all pissy with someone ha. So you don't think the gpo's are manly enough?

get a charcoal over lay for the red and it might look better....

It came with a black overlay but it was kinda not hitting all of the red so I peeled the thing off. I like the figured pattern of the stock badge anyway. I kinda want to keep the red..... I've thought of maybe painting(?) the chrome part of it gray, but I don't know how that'd look. maybe i'll photoshop it real quick...

I wasn't trying to be mean at all that is just what I thought about the look. I like the chrome border like that but I just think that its a little to busy. just my 2 cents

all the other red? the gpos would look cooler if they and the lower fascia was black....

Huh? what do you mean all the other red? and yeah, they're definitely staying gray. I know a lot of people go black, but I really love the gray and white theme. My wheels are the same color too.

yeah. the skinny bottom part was kinda messed up a little and you could see red at the top if you looked close.

Do it.. I think it would look pimp. You could even tint the chrome to give it a darker shine. If you don't like it... umm.... I'll take it ;)

your PS pics make it look right, you would need to either open the bumper indent up a bit to st it in but that might take away from the angles of it. - i would suggest fill the emblem indent, or make sure it sits 100% flus over it, but keep it!, when i was putting my bumper together i wasnt sure if i wanted to use one of the new style emblems either, i couldnt find one in my yard, but i did find a stock on with chrome trim and a plain red center, not the ugly checker red and black.

Yeah, I think it would look a lot better if it sat down in the indent. But yeah, like you said, I'd have to cut out the corners of the indent a little, and i'm pretty afraid to do that, since i'd probably make a mess of things ha.

take them both off and leave them off.

i was wondering how long it would take for you to come and tell me that ha. I'll happily debadge the rest of the car, but I really think the front end needs the emblem. Maybe on cars that have aftermarket bumpers and don't have the indent...
