He's using his clout in the community as leverage to gain people's trust.
He's selling them something they can get on their own much MUCH cheaper.

This is also another issue with WBS. Receiving items that are contrary to what is pictured.
His excuse for this was that sometimes product supply chains change and he doesn't update the site, moreover he says this is a non-issue since no one cares about the picture.

There's a few different issues floating around... I'm taking on the headers.

That is a flat out lie. Show me where you can find the current version of WBS headers on Ebay? It's your opinion that the modifications do not benefit anything.

The fact is that the modifications and time spent on those headers is represented in the cost.

Not even close to a lie as I'm going to prove exactly how to do it for hundreds cheaper.
I think you need to go look up the definitions of 'lie', 'truth', 'opinion', and 'fact'.

In your opinion the modifications to the headers are worthless. Does that negate the fact they are done as represented in the cost?

Your theory has already been proven years ago.

Yes you can buy headers off Ebay and make them work for cheaper than WBS. Are they the same thing?...Not even close. The WBS headers are basically ZZP knock offs, plain and simple.

Um couldnt the same be said for any mechanic that installs parts for a customer then?

You COULD do the same thing for LOTS cheaper??
 


No because you may not have the time, knowledge, or ability to work on your car.
Anyone can drop a set of headers off at a shop to make a few cuts and welds.

So you would agree that more work done means more cost right? Also, that quotes for this work could range all over the board. Oh and some people might actually do a crappy job.

You make this assumption that anyone who brings a set of headers to a exhaust shop is going to walk out with the great headers for a great price.

WBS headers are ZZP knockoffs for $150 less. Are they something I would buy. No. But is it fraud. No

You can't prove those headers came from WBS anytime recently. In fact the claim that they even came from WBS has been deleted along with the pictures.

Just heard back from the guy who purchased the wood pellet headers, lol, he said they came from W-bodystore. When I got them I thought they where different than previous w-bodystore headers I had installed but wasn't my car so I wasn't the one worrying about it.

He said they came from WBS (Which nobody is disputing).

I don't see one thing about that sentence that says he purchased them directly from WBS and anytime recently. He could have bought them from someone on a forum who said they came from WBS. Pretty obvious that the person who bought the headers didn't take the time to research because they brought them to someone to have them installed without question.

Point is that you don't know.

If you followed the thread you would realize the buyer bought them from Mike, new, at WBS.
