Hi i was on here a couple months ago because of my fuel pump. While i was on here people were saying i only need the fuel pump which costs $30 and not the w
hole canister. Does anyone know where i can get the part? thanks. 1999 pontiac grand prix gtp
 


Your best bet is to get one from ebay or a local vendor on here. The auto parts stores will not sell just the pump,they will sell the whole fuel assembly. Thats were i bought mine.

There's an access panel under the carpet in the trunk. It's in the middle closest to the passenger area. You can do the replacement in the back seat. Just food down the middle seat and go through the "window."

Started fuel pump replacement. GM was kind enough to design an access panel in the trunk area. Removed the nuts holding it down and here is the module it's in. You can I had already started removing the lines:
