• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

fuel pump resistor

It slows down the fuel pump.

Mostly though..it screws with us and causes the car to run for a couple seconds and die. Piss us off and make us replace it.

Bill where is it at? It made me have to tow my car:(

Its behind the passenger fender up by the battery. If you buy the replacement one you just unhook the current one and drill a hole an screw the new one to the firewall.

same thing happened to me last summer.

........or you could just run it in high speed mode all the time like I do.

Running it at high mode all the time will make you go through pumps...it is meant to be a temp fix.

Well..it's right here from the factory

Shoulda bent pin 85 on the speed relay.

i just did mine yesterday, it really isnt too bad, just take your passenger wheel off, take off all that plastic shield in the fender, you will see a bracket connected to your washer bottle remove that and you will have more than enough room to take it out. To get to the harness to plug the new one in just remove your battery and head light as shown in the pic and its right there can't miss it, it took me about 45 minutes to do, the only tough part about it is the diagnosing that that part was actually bad lol
