Fuel pump assembly plug

Solving problems
I have a 2000 GTP that the fuel pump (check valve) is going out on. Previous owner had the pump replaced with some aftermarket unit. From what I understand, the aftermarket pumps have a different plug, so they provide you with a new pigtail to replace the GM factory connection. (see pic.1)

My plan is to replace just the pump with a Racetronix FPA-007 unit. While I'm in there, I would like to replace the aftermarket pigtail back to the factory style. (see pic.2) Reason being, in the future I might want to do the W1 Fuel Pump Wiring Harness upgrade and I want to keep it "plug and play." Also, the racetronix pump has a pre-wired connector for the factory connection, and I doubt this will match the one in the aftermarket assembly. (see pic.3)

So my question is, are all the w-body pump plugs the same? Or for that matter, are the pumps the same? Or different for the S/C cars? I would like to get a junkyard pump assembly, and install the racetronix pump into that on a bench, then swap out the assemblies. Or at the very least, swap out the plug bulkheads. What do I need from the yard to accomplish this? Local Pick-a-part place has no GTP's but one Regal GS. Would that work?

Thanks!!
