Fuel pressure release

In a bit of a quandary. I have the exhaust manifolds and pipes off, spark plugs and wires off as well as the throttle body. I've now decided to also put in new fuel injectors. Normally I would run the car and pull the relay and let it run until it was out of fuel to release the fuel pressure, but at this point that's not an option. What are the other alternatives to releasing the fuel pressure without getting a gasoline shower?

Find the Schrader valve on the rail. Use a small screwdriver to depress the valve to release the pressure in the rail. Put a shop towel over/around it as you press the valve to avoid spraying it everywhere. I would wear safety glasses too just in case. Fuel in the eyes in no good.

You'll still have fuel in the rail when you start removing the old injectors so heads up. Also, make sure you lube up the new fuel injector O-rings injectors so they slip in without issue.
