The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
How do you get the fuel lines apart I have the sissor type and round type but i can't get the lines to budge. I am pulling the engine this week end for a new oil pump and oil screen change. Help
You don't have to disconnect the fuel lines unless you really want to. I just unbolted my fuel rail and moved it over out of the way. It hangs on the driver's side diagonal brace quite well.
I don't recommend the cheap plastic ones. I bought a set from Harbor Freight and they wouldn't work on the fuel rail that I got from ebay. I had to borrow my dad's blue point set. They were still plastic, but they worked on the first try. They seemed a little longer than that cheap ones. They were made of a stronger plastic too.
I got my cheap plastic ones from SlowRielly's and they have worked just fine for less than 10 bucks or whatever I paid for em...and I have used them a few times and work pretty good
I must have just got a bad set then. I tried for about 15 minutes to get them off with the harbor freight ones. I broke out the blue point set and they came right off.
