i need to wire in an aftermarket fuel gauge from autometer. how do i do it.does it come with a sending unit?any info would help
 


You need to call auotmeter tech ling and get the proper ohm sending unit from them for our car's. I'm not sure what the ohm range is or if they have one. But usually all ford's work for all for's and all GM's work for all GM's.
 
but I think the pcm supplies voltage to the gauge(0-5), the sender supplies an ohm reading to the pcm. I would like to know this as well. let me know if you find any info out. Thanks
