Fuel Gauge acting crazy

Whats going on ladies and gents? Been having some trouble with my fuel gauge needle. It fluctuates from full to completely empty with the low fuel light on
I have heard that this could be the sending unit on the fuel pump. Would it be a better idea to replace the entire fuel pump or just replace the sending unit?
Would rather just replace the whole pump... Anyone have any good prices or links to a reliable fuel pump? Thanks in advanced to the fine folks at GPF :th_thumbsup-wink:

I forgot to add that my car has over 261,000 miles on the clock which is why I thought it might be a better idea to replace the whole fuel pump with sending unit instead of just the sending unit.
Anyone else have any input on this situation? Getting tired of having to keep track of my fill ups and miles and what not. Don't particularly like relying on the DIC to show me how many gallons I used and having to remember how much I put in on my last fill up

Thanks for the video spazzz, will be very helpful if I end up only replacing the sending unit

Replace the whole assembly. Easy swap. I'm sure the pump is on its way out. Pretty high miles for an original one.

Not entirely sure if it is original or not.. judging by the way the sending unit is acting I would almost assume it is.
Does anyone have any good links where to get a reliable fuel pump assembly for pretty cheap?
Looked at rockauto and wasn't sure if any other places could beat their price
