was coming down i95 today and layed into it and blew out a coolant elbow got home before it got to hot lucky my friend Andy hooked me up with an extra coolant elbow and Autozone was open bought a new belt and now its time to flush that Dex-cool crap and upgrade to the green

this is what i seen when i looked under the hood. i hosed it down,removed the elbows and flushed the system bye bye Dex-cool

put everything back together new belt new coolant!

and that clear vac line is for my boost gauge its only temp i know it looks ugly engine bay will get cleaned up once i install the Gen 5

yea once im 18 and they'll let me into pick-a-part lol right now i can only go down to the ghetto in Philly and they dont really get GP's and if the do there always stripped down

ive gotten a little further no pics right now i been doing other stuff so 1 haven't been working on it as much, but it will get done lol i still need to save up and get some more parts for the swap too

today i installed the deflector to stop the water from coming into my car on the passenger side floor, part cost $5.50 at the dealer. wasn't expecting it to be so cheap lol
took some pics along the way..

had to remove the whole cowl panel because its a 1 piece sucks because the wipers have to come off

haha yea when i start working more this summer. still have a while to go with it, and have to buy some parts for the swap first. im getting fuel rails too because there's no sense polishing that thing for 40+ hours to put the ugly stock rails back on lol

yea it does, that's coming next probably just a quickie though lol its only an alternator my luck it'll go bad once i polish it.

haha yea, doesnt even need to be buffed that much, just enough to were it doesnt look like it wasnt rolling around in dirt for 5 years, i wouldnt polish my own alternator, id def fyck it up

How difficult is it to get the wipers off, what tool did you have to use? I have the deflector and have never installed it. Went to do it one night got part of the panel off and it started raining.

good luck with that Auto Zone Coolant Elbow they suck. Mine started leaking 4 months after i put it in.
