front strut assembly

I am looking to redo my front struts because one of them keeps making a popping noise when the car comes to a stop down hill... pretty sure it's the strut since I already replaced all the linkages, the ball joints and even now the wheel hub (was squealing, so it needed replaced anyways)... it's almost like the strut mount wore out, but the strut is also making a metalic knocking noise when going over bumps also and at 70k miles it's probably time...

I was looking at rock auto for front strut assemblies (preassembled to save time) I seem to only be able to find rear strut assemblies except for one monroe brand

Is monroe alright? never used their stuff before always looked towards MOOG but I cant seem to find pre-assembled front struts from them.

also they only list one type of front strut (not left/right like the rear) I assume they are interchangeable side wise on the front on this car?

The car is a Pontiac Grand Prix 2008 base with 16" rims
 


Monroe is fine. I replaced my struts about 5 years ago now and all is good; one bearing plate did fail though.
 
does moog make a front strut assembly for the 2008 base gp's? seems odd they only list the rear on their site as a preassemblied kit. if so what's the part number?
