Front mount intetcooler



yeah dude the intercooler goes UNDER the blower...not a front mounted one like in a turbo setup.

It's called geneau pig...who is going to want a relocated throttle body setup that is a one off? Unless you do it on your car I don't see the point...the IC is different...it has been done, along with your phenolic S/C spacers.
 


To my knowledge it has never been done with a fwd. Yes, i will be testing on my car as soon as i get my tranny fixed.
 
it would be easier just to move the MAF. why do you want to move the throttle body? all you need to know is how much air is moving BEFORE the intercooler and have a blow off valve to bleed boost when the blade snaps shut. im not sure what youre getting at here, but if you think you are on to something then go right ahead.
 
Ive considered both but the latter of the two might be a better option, we will see. I know alot of people ask me why i would want to do a fmic but why not? 1. Its unique. 2. It works very well. 3. No moving parts, more reliable. 4. You got a monster front mount in the front!!! Anyways, what i was trying to get at with the OP was that yes, it can be done, just takes some ingenuity.

And yes, it will have a BOV
