front end noise, what else...?

so ive had this noise on my front passenger side.... its a loud metal on metal banging noise; picture 2 large wrenches in a tool box, and the banging noise they would make every time you hit a bump. thats the noise im hearing.
so far ive replaced the front control arm bushing, and the sway bar link. the hub/bearing is new, and the shock/strut and cv shaft is about a year old. ive disconnected both the outer tie rod link and the ball joint and both feel pretty solid to my feel.

what should i try next?

Did you replace sway bar bushings? Also did you get a new strut mount when you did the strut.

i havent replaced either of the sway bar bushings, only the 1 sway bar link on the passenger side. the struts were replaced with quick struts, so everything strut related is newer.

would you happen to know the diameter of the stock sway bar?

alright, both sway bar bushings and both sway bar end links are now new. problem hasnt changed.

what else could it be?

I am wondering if it could be the intermediate shaft, but I don't know if your model grand prix has issues with it.

check 2 make sure that your brace that runs from the strut tower 2 your rad support is tight that will cause a popping sound. Also if your dog bones are bad that will also cause popping sound on front end from motor moving 2 much. Hope this helps!!!
